The Tawern hotel, located in a charming small town with a rich history in Germany, is a unique establishment set in a restored castle nestled in the mountains. As a designer, my mission was to create a new logo and branding materials that preserved the historical ambiance of the hotel while incorporating its monarchist theme.
To achieve this, I first immersed myself in the hotel's history and the surrounding mountainous landscape. This allowed me to develop a clear understanding of the hotel's identity and the key elements that needed to be reflected in the logo and branding materials.
I then began crafting the logo, using a coat of arms as the central motif to evoke the regal theme of the hotel. The emblem features elements such as a crown and a shield to further enhance this theme, while also reflecting the historical aspect of the establishment. The mountainous location of the hotel is represented in the design through the use of a mountain icon, which is incorporated into the coat of arms.
Once the logo was finalized, I created a range of branding materials such as business cards, letterheads, and brochures that featured the new logo and design elements. These materials were designed to complement the historical and monarchist theme of the hotel, with a focus on elegant, sophisticated design.
The end result was a new logo and branding materials that perfectly captured the historical and regal character of the Tawern hotel. The new design elements helped to elevate the hotel's image and attract new visitors who were seeking a luxurious and unique experience in a beautiful mountain setting.
